A fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating grande and petite sonnerie keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1895. Retailed by La Joya, Mexico. Nickel finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs activated by a push button in the band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and sunken subsidiary seconds. Engraved case, floral and scroll motif to both covers, the front cover with monogrammed plaque, Gde Sonnerie P/S Silence slide to the rim. Cuvette, dial and movement signed. Comes with a wooden presentation box.
