A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1938. Lever movement, manual winding, 18 jewels. Off-white enamel dial with raised hour batons and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Plain case, snap-on back. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on November 11th, 1938

This piece has reference 600. The reference 600 was launched around 1930 and was available until 1969. Over its long production period, the model was fitted with dials in numerous different configurations, from the classic plain pointed rectangular indexes to cloisonné enamel dials or diamond-set indexes. It was available in yellow gold, rose gold, white gold and platinum as well as some watches with a combination of rose and white gold.
