A fine and rare French miniature vari coloured gold and diamond quarter repeating verge pocket watch by J.F. Moré à Paris, circa 1765. Gilt full plate movement, fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, pierced bridge with coqueret, adjustable potence, repeating with adjustable hammers on bell or à toc by depressing pendant. White enamel dial, Roman chapters, Arabic minutes and pierced white gold hands set with diamonds. Case pierced band chased and applied with vari coloured garland enclosing bouquet with diamond flowers and leaves on guilloché reserve.
