Extremely fine and very rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold, minute repeating, keyless pocket watch, circa 1915. Sold on August 28th, 1916. Watch with six complications with perpetual calendar, phases and age of the moon. Accompanied by a fitted box and the Extract from the Archives. A polished case, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial, narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals, four red-painted subsidiary dials for days of the week, date concentric with subsidiary seconds, months, moon phase aperture with the age of the moon. Blued steel spade hands.

A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 31 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line counterpoised and calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial, case and movement signed.
