A fine and very rare Swiss gold and enamel open faced miniature lady’s pendant watch, circa 1850. Movement with eight jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
The case back with polychrome enamel flowers on a black enamel ground, engraved bezels, pendant and bow, the front cover is decorated to match. A silver dial with Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, the centre engraved and gold decorative hands.  Cuvette signed and numbered.
