Skeletonized repeating jaquemart automaton Circa 1820

A French 18 carat gold skeletonized quarter repeating jaquemart with concealed erotic automaton, circa 1820. Gilt full plate movement, bridge pierced and engraved in a star motif. Gilt metal cuvette. Skeletonized dial plate composed of two vari color gold figures representing classical soldiers striking bells above with an erotic automaton composed of a vari color gold figures of a lady and her suitor, the scene concealed beneath a blued steel shutter applied with a vari color gold trophy of love, all centered by a white enamel chapter ring and Arabic numerals. The case bezel fitted with release lever, plain polished case, reeded band.
