A fine and very rare Swiss miniature, 18K gold and enamel lady’s pendant watch, circa 1850. A polished case, chased flower and scroll bezel, pendant and bow, coin-edge band, the back cover overlaid with translucent royal blue guilloche enamel, gold paillon flowers in the centre, and engraved scroll border. Hinged gold cuvette. Matte silver dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, and engraved flowers in the centre. Gold Breguet hands. A frosted gilt movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm frosted gilt balance with flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator.
