Gold hunting cased keyless lever watch
–
A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch made by IWC Schaffhausen, circa 1915. This watch has a mechanical crown-winding manual movement with a lever escapement, ruby pallets, screwed chatons, and a swan neck regulation system. The gold coloured dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel hands. The dial bears the International Watch Co. Schaffhausen signature inside a cartouche below the 12 o’clock marker. The timepiece is housed in a substantial three body, 14 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with a polished bezel, a fluted winding crown, and a suspension bow.
