A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, dating from the late 19th century. This watch features a mechanical handwound movement with a lever escapement. The white enamel dial displays black painted Roman numerals, a black minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, a small seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gilt Louis XV style hands. The 14 carat gold case includes a hinged guilloché caseback with a double blank cartouche in the centre, and a metal inner cuvette.
