Pocket watch in Cartier style

A rare Art Déco split seconds chronograph in Cartier style, made for Dreicer & Co. New York by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1930. The open faced plain case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat pink gold and is engraved with “V&C”. The silvered dial in Cartier style, has a 30 minute register at twelve o’clock, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and Breguet steel hands. The extremely rare and highly refined numbered movement has a precision lever escapement, a split seconds chronograph and 27 jewels.
Case and movement have match numbers and case, dial and movement are signed
