An extremely fine chronograph pocket watch made by Vacheron Constantin SA in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1905. The numbered solid case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and features a monogram on the back. The white enamel dial has Breguet hours, an outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions and Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, 30 minute counter at 12 and gold spade hands. The numbered movement is fitted with a precision lever escapement and an unusually fine adjusting device.
The cuvette and dial are signed.
