An unusual quarter repeating full hunter pocket watch made by Patek, Philippe & Co in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1890. This numbered hunting cased watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, has a polished case with a noble monogram on the front and a numbered cuvette. The white enamel dial has Roman hour and Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and steel moon hands. The very fine, early Patek Philippe bridge movement has an anker chronometer escapement and repeats the quarter hours.
Dial and cuvette are signed.
