A fine gold Geneva observatory chronometer made by the Geneva watchmaking school apprentice Leon Roeck in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1922. The open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold, has the year punch 1922, a monogram on the back lid and the cuvette is inscribed “Noel 1922”. The special gold dial is engine turned, has cartouches with Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and steel Breguet hands. The exquisite Geneva anker chronometer movement in the quality of an observatory chronometer is double punched with the Geneva seal, has wolf’s toothing, a chronometer balance, a fine adjusting device and a lever escapement.
