A fine Swiss 18 carat gold pocket watch quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1840.
An engine turned case, polished bezel, back rim and a hinged gold cuvette. Silver sunray engine turned dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and gold Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement, cylinder escapement, three arm balance with flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a plunge in the bow stem. Cuvette signed.
