Ultra flat full hunter cased watch in original box

A very rare ultra flat gold full hunter cased watch with winding key in the original box which was crafted from tortoiseshell and velvet, made by Edward Robert Theurer in la Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, circa 1850. This watch features a numbered full hunter case crafted from 18 carat gold which is elaborately decorated with floral motifs on both sides, a coined band and a numbered cuvette which is marked Echappement à cilindre, Huit trous en Rubis. The white enamal dial has Roman hour numerals and Breguet steel hands and the super flat movement has a cylinder escapement.
The case and cuvette have matching numbers and the cuvette is signed.
