An early pocket watch with a gold ratchet key made by Patek in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1860. The case of this watch, crafted from 18 carat gold, has a decoratively engraved and engine turned back with a vacant cartouche in the center. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions and very fine filigree hands. The key wind bar movement has a cylinder escapement..
