A rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased  (Savonette) pocket watch, made in the 19th century. This watch features a mechanical movement with a Breguet overcoil spiral and chatonné jewels. The white enamel dial displays painted Roman numerals for the hours, a railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and hands set with faceted diamonds. The round 18 carat yellow gold case features a cover engraved with a mavelot (an ornate, intertwined monogram or crest typical for personalising luxury items in the 180s).
