A fine Swiss 18 Carat gold and champlevé enamel lady’s pendant watch, circa 1840.
Retailed by Boudin, Rue de la Paix 24 à Paris. A scallop edged, the back decorated with multicoloured flowers and engraved foliage, black background, bezel decorated to match. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details. Silver dial with sunray engine-turning, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and gold Breguet hands. A gilt brass movement, Lepine calibre with going barrel, jewelled cylinder escapement, plain gold three arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
