A fine and elegant Swiss 18K gold and enamel open faced cylinder lady’s pendant watch, circa 1850. Polished bezel, reeded band, the case back with a fine polychrome enamel depiction of the Madonna della Sedia after Raphael’s original, engine-turned, chased and engraved scroll border. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
