A Swiss 18 carat gold keyless pocket watch with chronograph, independent seconds, double train movement, and a wooden presentation box, made in Switzerland, circa 1895. The movement operates mechanically with a crown winding, a lever escapement, a spiral balance, a double gear train, and an advance/delay adjustment. The white enamel dial features Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes, a minute track, a central seconds hand, a subsidiary seconds dial, and gold spade hands. The gold case has a round hinge, a back engraved with English initials, and a gold bowl inscribed with details of the watch’s functions. It comes with a wooden box marked with the Joseph Reynier Les Arcs signature.
