Very fine and large, Swiss 18K yellow gold keyless minute-repeating hunting cased pocket watch with oval button chronograph, circa 1915.
Rhodium-plated movement, calibre 21, fausses côtes (Geneva stripes) and oeil-de-perdrix (Partridge’s eyes) decoration, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance blued steel Breguet balance spring, visible chronograph mechanism, repeating on gongs through activating slide on the band. Enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic five minutes/seconds numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, centre chronograph hand, and original blued spade hands. Plain polished 18K gold case. Dial, case and movement signed. Accompanied by Ulysse Nardin box.
