A Swiss 14 carat pink and enamel gold hunting cased keyless Imperial presentation pocket watch made for the Russian market by Paul Buhré in St. Petersburg, circa 1890. An engine turned cover and case back, the front is engraved in fine cut and black champlevé enamelled with the coat of arms of the Russian Empire. White enamel dial with radial Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 and pink gold spade hands. Nickel plated movement with a going barrel, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, and a polished steel index regulator. Signature on the case and movement.
