Gold pocket watch by Patek Philippe
–
A fine Swiss 18K gold open faced ladies’ pocket watch, circa 1905. Retail by Ryrie Brothers, Toronto. The watch features an 18K gold case that includes an engraved monogram, the Patek Philippe signature, and a serial number. The dome of the watch is inscribed with a dedication from 1908. Inside, it is equipped with a highly precise lever movement, which includes a moustache lever and Geneva stripes, and the movement is numbered. The enamel dial is particularly striking, displaying Breguet style radial hour markers, an outer minute track with red markings, a subsidiary dial for red seconds, and original gold hands in the Louis XV style. This watch was made for Ryrie Brothers in Toronto and remains in completely original condition. Although it is intact, it is recommended that it be cleaned.
