A small Swiss 18K yellow gold Chronometro Gondolo keyless pendant watch, circa 1915. Made for Gondolo & Labouriau, Rio de Janeiro. A polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and yellow gold Louis XVI hands. A frosted gilt movement, 18 jewels, gold wheel train, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, Wilmot’s patented micrometric cam regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
