A very fine, keyless Swiss, 18K pink gold pocket watch, circa 1915. Accompanied by a fitted box and a certificate. Made for Gondolo & Laboriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro. A solid, polished, engine-turned case back with monogram, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, patented bridge calibre with gold train, 19 jewels, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, Patek Philippe patented micrometre cam regulator, wolf’s tooth winding wheels. Dial, case and movement signed.
