A fine and elegant Swiss, 14K gold Rococo style, enamel and rose diamond-set lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1895. The band with engraved decoration, the front cover overlaid with translucent red enamel and with engraved gold foliate scrolls, a central rose diamond-set flower, the back is decorated to match with a central engraved gold phoenix trophy. Hinged gold cuvette. Off-white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer gold minute divisions. Gilt Louis XV hands. A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
