A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced chronograph pocket watch made by Longines, late 19th century. This watch features a hand wound mechanical lever movement. The white enamel dial displays Arabic numerals for the hours, two counters for seconds and minutes, a peripheral graduation in red and black, likely a pulsometer or tachymeter scale. a large blued steel central chronograph seconds hand, and spade hands for the time. The round 18 carat yellow gold case is fitted with a plain gold cuvette. The case bears the horsehead hallmark (1838–1919).
