Gold open faced with independent dead seconds

An extremely fine and rare French 18K gold triple-train quarter-repeating pocket watch with independent dead-seconds, circa 1820. A polished, reeded band. Gilt cuvette hinged to the movement ring, bolt at 1 o’clock for blocking the repeater, the lever at 3 to start/stop dead seconds. White enamel dial, radial Arabic numerals, outer minute/dead-seconds track with five-minute Arabic numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass, standing barrels, cylinder escapement, jewelled three-arm gold balance, both pivots jewelled, flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Dial and cuvette signed.
