A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, early 19th century. This watch features a key wound mechanical movement with a chased and pierced cock, a three arm spiral balance, verge escapement, and an advance/delay setting disc. Its white enamel dial displays stylised Arabic numerals for the hours, a minute track with Arabic fifteen minute numerals, Breguet style hands, and a square key winding aperture. The round 18 carat yellow gold case is decorated with a stylised monogram in English letters on the back.
