Gold soap box pocket watch with geometric design

A Swiss 18 carat yellow, pink and white gold savonnette (soap box) pocket watch, made by Radio in Switzerland, circa 1920-1930. This watch features a handwound mechanical lever movement. The gilded dial, signed Radio Chronomètre, is decorated with a sophisticated honeycomb and fan shaped guilloché motif, featuring applied Arabic numerals, an outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. The three body solid gold case is exceptionally decorated with a geometric diamond shaped pattern in contrasting gold tones. The watch includes an 18 carat yellow gold inner dust cover (cuvette) and a fluted crown with a circular bow.
