An extremely rare and fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced single button chronograph doctor’s watch with 30 minute counter and pulsation scale, circa 1940. Divided 4/5 plate movement, a lever escapement and screw compensation balance. Three-tone silvered dial with black Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, an outermost pulsations scale, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute register at 12 and blued heavy moon hands. A plain case. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
