A fine and rare 18 Carat gold and enamel hunting cased pocket watch. Made by Breguet in Paris Circa 1840. Four body case with reeded band, chased borders, pendant and bow, the covers decorated with chased gold and multicoloured enamel flowers on a black ground and a hinged gold cuvette.
Silver dial with radial engine-turned champlevé Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions and gold Breguet hands. Matte gilt movement with Lepine calibre, jewelled cylinder escapement, three-arm flat rim balance, flat balance spring and an index regulator.
Cuvette signed.
