A Swiss extraordinary 18 Carat rose gold and half pearl set navette shaped ring watch, circa 1850.
Plain case, the bezel is set with half pearls. Two small white enamel dials, in the lower part one for the indication of time with Arabic hours, outer minute divisions and blued spade hands, above the subsidiary seconds on an engine turned cobalt blue enamelled ground with engraved floral gold decoration. A moulded frosted gilt movement with cylinder escapement.
