A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel pocket watch with matching brooch made for Cady & Olmstead in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.A. by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1899. The jewelled nickel movement with a moustache lever escapement, 18 jewels and a cut bimetallic compensation balance. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, an outer minute track, outermost gold Arabic five minute numerals and stylized hands. The chased case with graduated green, yellow and orange enamel, three dimensional poppy flower decoration and a gold engraved cuvette. Case, dial and movement signed.
