A fine Geneva deck watch, Chronometer Royal, of the British Royal Navy, circa 1940. The watch features a sterling silver polished case with military engraving HS 2 and punch mark FFBA (Fédération des Fabricants de boites argent). It also includes a signed and numbered enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, broad arrow, and blued steel spade hands. The bridge movement is bevelled and rhodium-plated, with Geneva Striping decoration, wolfteeth winding wheels, lever escapement, Guillaume gold screw balance, and index spring fine adjusting device.
