A rare Swiss 18K gold, precious coral and rose-cut diamond-set pendant watch with a lapel brooch fitting en suite, circa 1840. The front cover is set with graduated rings of alternating precious coral cabochons and rose-cut diamonds, a reeded band, and the back cover is decorated with a star design set with rose-cut diamonds, central cabochon coral and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt, bar calibre movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Cuvette signed.
