A Swiss 18 carat gold and brass open faced quarter repeating keywind gentleman’s pocket watch, made by Menthonnex in Genève, in the 19th century. This watch has a mechanical verge movement with hour and quarter repetition. It features a white enamel dial, Breguet numerals, outer minute ring, winding square at 2 o’clock, and blued and gilded steel hands. The 18 carat gold and brass case is smooth. Dial, movement, and case are signed.
