A Swiss yellow gold and enamel hunting cased watch, circa 1860, nickel lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, 15 jewels, gold cuvette.
Silvered engraved dial, Roman numerals, centerfield and outer edge with applied floral decoration, subsidiary seconds, spade hands, 18k yellow gold case, the cover depicting a polychrome enamel portrait of the Virgin Mary accented by paste stones, the reverse with Christian symbols, case numbered, cuvette and movement signed and numbered.
