A very fine Swiss, 18K gold, keyless 5- minute repeating watch, circa 1905. With split-seconds chronograph and instantaneous 60-minute register. Made for Tiffany & Co. New York. A polished case, case back with monogram JM, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, register at 12, subsidiary sunk seconds at 6. Blued steel spade hands. Movement, 38 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometric regulator, Koehn patented chronograph mechanism (Patent CH24118, 4th of July 1901), repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band. Dial, case, and movement signed by the retailer.
