A fine and rare Swiss 18k yellow gold hunting cased perpetual calendar pocket watch with moon-phases, circa 1891. Sold in 1930.
Extra quality nickel silver counterpoise lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold peripheral timing screws and blued Breguet balance spring with terminal curb, Wilmot-like snail mechanism for the micrometric regulation, 18k yellow gold engraved cuvette.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, four subsidiary dials for day and month in French, red date combined with constant seconds, moon-phases combined with lunar calendar, outer minute track, 18k yellow gold bassine polished case, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed and numbered.
