Gold astronomical verge watch

A rare and early Swiss gold simple calendar verge watch with moon age and indication for leap year cycle, circa 1790. Gilded full plate movement featuring a verge escapement, an intricately pierced and engraved balance bridge, a silver regulation plate, a fusee and chain mechanism, turned cylindrical pillars, and a protective dust ring. The white enamel dial displays Arabic numerals, an outer minute ring, and six subsidiary dials indicating days, moon age, subsidiary seconds, and months with their respective length, date, and leap year cycle. Encased in gold, the bezel is adorned with milled borders, while the case back is engraved with the Arms of Dura or di Dura of Naples. The case bears the maker’s mark, possibly HR, and is numbered 806.
