A fine, rare, thin French, 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch with chronograph, register and pulsometer, circa 1925. Medical Chronograph by Cartier, movement by European Watch & Clock Co. Inc. A polished case, the back cover with white champlevé enamel initials A.P.R. D. Matte silver with champlevé dauphine numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second chronograph division, five minute/second Arabic numerals, outermost pulsometer scale graduated to 200 pulsations. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial signed Cartier, and the movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc.
