A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set open faced verge pocket watch with date and small second, circa 1790. Frosted gilt full plate movement with flared turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Case with translucent blue enamel over engine turning, polychrome enamel scene, depicting the garden of love, and decoration to the back, the front diamond set. Movement signed and numbered.
