An Swiss elegant, diamond-set gold enamel lorgnette with concealed watch and enamelled watch key for the Ottoman market, circa 1840.
The folded lorgnette is released by a pusher in the band. The case is finely engraved on both sides with flowers and foliage. The front with hinged watch cover overlaid with translucent cobalt blue enamel over engine-turned ground, centered with a diamond-set flower tendril.
A gold and enamel case with old cut diamonds, an enamel dial, bridge movement and cylinder escapement.
