Gold lever watch for the Chinese market

A very fine 18k gold polychrome enamel “Spring Bouquet” and pearl set Swiss pocket watch for the Chinese market, circa 1840.
Gilt Chinese calibre, foliate chased and engraved, standing barrel, jewels in screwed chatons, lateral lever escapement, three-arm polished steel balance, diamond endstone, index regulator.
Case with pearl set bezel, stem and bow, hinged and sprung back cover with pearl set border and painted with a bouquet of spring flowers upon a beige ground and within a turquoise and engraved gold scroll border, hinged and sprung glazed cuvette.
White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer seconds track and Arabic quarter hour numerals. Blued steel hands. Movement signed.
