Open faced lever watch for the Chinese market

A very fine gold enamel Swiss pocket watch with center seconds  for the Chinese market, Probably made by Bovet, Fleurier, circa 1840.
Fully chased and engraved movement “Chinese” caliber with standing barrel, 8 jewels, lateral lever escapement, steel three-arm balance with blued steel wedges, blued steel balance spring, index regulator.

White enamel with radial Roman numerals,outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic fifteen minutes/seconds numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands.
Chased and engraved case with scrolls and flowers highlighted with red, blue and cream translucent enamel, similarly decorated pendant and bow, the back with a finely painted on enamel bouquet of early summer flowers against a red guilloché enamel ground. Hinged engraved cuvette. Movement signed.
