An elegant Swiss gentleman’s gold enamel pocket watch for the Ottoman market, circa 1915.
The case is 18 carat gold with polychrome Champlevè enamel back lid “depicting Koran suras” and gold dome. The dial is enamel with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, Ottoman signs and blued spade hands. And the movement is a 4/5 plate movement, signed, frosted and gilt, with screwed chatons and screw compensation balance.

The foundation of the brand was in 1886. The first West End Watches are produced by Alcide Droz & Sons and distributed on the Indian market.
