A gentleman’s very fine, rare Geneva pocket watch with chronograph delivered to Gondolo & Labouriau Relojoeiros Rio de Janeiro sold to Hermann Kanitz, circa 1905.
18k rose gold, engine turned, monogrammed, à goutte, signed gold dome, pusher for repetition via pendant. Enamel dial, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, central 60 min. counter, gold spade hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, very finely ground bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, wolfteeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance, cam type fine adjusting device, counter poised “Moustache” lever.
