Gold hunting cased lever pocket watch by Longines
–
A very fine Swiss hunting cased pocket watch with minute repeater, circa 1905. This timepiece features a smooth 18K rose gold case with factory glazing. It has an enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, an outer minutes track, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, and spade hands. The bridge movement has two hammers/two gongs, lever escapement, and screw compensation balance. It was purchased on January 11, 1908, by the Italian Longines importer Blum & Ostersetzer. It comes with its original mahogany case with mother-of-pearl inlay and an integrated repeater release, as well as an extract from the archives.
