An attractive, probably, French gold, enamel and pearl-set hunting cased verge pendant watch, circa 1820. Engine-turned case with pale blue translucent enamel on both sides, pearl-set bezels, a painted enamel figure on the front cover. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals, outer minute track, aperture for winding at two positions and gilt Breguet hands. Gilt full plate movement, turned pillars, fuse barrel with verge escapement, pierced and engraved continental cock with steel end-piece, brass three-arm balance, flat hairspring, regulator dial.
